ain't no bunnies
Behind Ain’t No Bunnies is an artist committed to making art accessible — but not bland or universal.
I don’t create for everyone. I create from an instinctive need to make, to express, and to connect with those who appreciate the unconventional. I create for people who see sexual behavior as culture; for those who want art that speaks loudly and meaningfully; for those who value an artist unafraid to make a statement on their behalf.
My imagery feels approachable, yet it’s loaded with wit, edge, attitude, provocation, humor, and a hunger for the unapologetic sexualization of literally everything!
I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember and my work has always been an ongoing exploration of sexuality, identity in flux, and the Deleuzian notion of desire. It’s a critique of the social norms and stereotypes that inevitably surface when one engages with the terrain of personality and sexuality.
Visually, my influences pull from; urban aesthetics, body modification, fashion, punk culture, and the ever-accelerating pulse of contemporary digital life. My themes may come across as provocative, but to me they’re simply reflections of the world as I perceive it.
I don’t believe in art as an exclusive club. I believe in accessibility.
I want my work to reach people, to be seen, to be held, to be owned.
