Bio

Jacqueline was born in Amsterdam The Netherlands in 1959.Already as a child she liked to draw and paint. 

She studied Textile Design at the Gerrit Rietveld Art school in Amsterdam, where she learned to work with a free spirit.

Years later she started taking painting lessons and developed here own style.She is inspired by the impressionist like Matisse, Bonnard and Picasso, and is often discovering new young artists who inspire her as well. Creating her art is rather intuitive and a discovering process.

Her painting process starts with several layers of acrylic paint, collage of paper ore textile. Then gradually the composition evolves and women arise from the chaos of colors and shapes.
