Stathis KROKIDIS

Stathis Krokidis is a photographer based in Sparta, Greece. For eleven years, he worked as a professional advertising photographer, running his own studio in Athens during the transition from analogue to digital photography.

His personal work remains primarily film-based, combining darkroom printing with selective digital refinement to serve his artistic vision. He focuses on photographing everyday women, creating raw, honest portraits and nudes that emphasize authenticity over artificial enhancement. He works selectively and deliberately, producing images when inspiration and the right emotional atmosphere are present, rather than engaging in high-volume production.

Alongside his artistic practice, he undertakes professional assignments in architectural, real estate, product, and catalogue photography, bringing extensive experience in both analogue and digital techniques
