SHAME

SHAME is an intimate and visually provocative exploration of identity, sexuality, censorship, and female agency. The book merges autobiographical reflections, photography, painting, and performative imagery — much of it created in collaboration with artist Anastasia Vladimirskaya. Our work speaks from the post-Soviet context yet reaches far beyond, addressing themes that are global, urgent, and deeply human.

This book dares to confront what society labels as “taboo,” reclaiming the naked body and the unapologetic self as sources of strength. It also examines shame — not as weakness, but as a tool of control that we, as artists, dismantle through expression.
