One of the first portraits of Awa Igara, my 19-year-old Japanese partner, sitting naked in a suit, legs bent and open on the tatami, with necklaces of Akoya pearls covering her front of the body. White red yellow and black, it will be like a vision in the most detached sense of reality, an overflow of small pearls that will flow freely on her shoulders, her breasts, her navel and her pubis. In this work, I sought to capture the tranquility and inner isolation through the thoughtful posture of the young woman, sitting in a room bathed in natural light. The vivacity of the colors and the precision of oil realism accentuate the intimacy of the moment. Every detail, from delicate pearls to the surrounding decor, aspires to summon a deep emotional resonance, inviting contemplation and serenity in your space.
